Alex Jiang focuses on investments in the Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) space. He actively involves on all aspects of investment and value-adding to portfolio companies, including deal sourcing and evaluation, executing on financing, and assisting in strategy formulation, business development and recruiting for WI Harper’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining WI Harper, Alex worked at VivaKi, the media and digital holding arm of Publicis Group, at its Greater China operation’s formation as Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Partnership, where he helped to rationalize the group’s digital strategy at the holding company level, negotiated and executed strategic partnerships and investments in digital media, online advertising, mobile, SNS and other related sectors. Alex was also responsible for structuring and developing the world-leading media technology platform for VivaKi China. While studying at Harvard Business School for MBA, Alex worked as a summer associate with GSR Ventures in Beijing and WPP Group’s Corporate Development team in New York.

Alex Jiang holds a MBA from Harvard Business School, M.A. from China Foreign Affairs University and B.A. from Dalian University of Technology. Alex loves to hang out with his entrepreneur friends, reading and learning golf.
