YK Chu, Managing Director
With over 20 years experience in investment and technology fields, YK oversees WI Harper's venture capital business in Taiwan. Before assuming his present position, YK served as President at Sasson International of MTI Group, and was responsible for new ventures development investment in communications industries. Prior to joining Sasson, YK was the Funding Partner of Taiwan Cellular Corp., and General Manager of Iridium Taiwan Gateway's construction, system development for business operation and territory market access covering Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, and Papua New Guinea. YK also held the positions of Vice President of Walden International Investment Group, Director of Taiwan Aerospace Corporation, and Vice President of Dynatech Taiwan Corporation.
YK holds an M.E. degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from University of Washington, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from National Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan.
