Peter Wei joined WI Harper in 2006. He is responsible for identifying, screening and evaluating new investment opportunities, particularly in the New Energy, Internet, WVAS and Traditional Service sectors. Peter also helps portfolio companies in a variety of ways including market research, competitive analysis and new business opportunities. Prior to joining WI Harper, Peter Wei worked at Shandong Electric Power Corporation and was responsible for electrical engineering design works. He also has experience in developing database software for the company as well as some local government departments. Peter had helped translate Valuation (4th Edition) by McKinsey&Company into Chinese as one of the major members during his master program. Within WI Harper, Peter actively participated in the investments in 3G.cn, Mapbar & Daqi.

Peter was born in China and holds a M.S. in technological economics and management from Tsinghua University and a B.S. in applied physics from Tongji University.
