Mr. Davis is a technology executive with expertise in general management, marketing, fundraising, and venture investing in the software, biotechnology, and information technology industries.
Mr. Davis, a serial entrepreneur, has founded over twenty companies and has managed five while raising $250 million in capital. In addition to his position of the Chairman of the WI Harper Advisory Board, he is also the founder and CEO of the Montclair Group Limited and is active with ChondroGene (a WI Harper investment) and Bridge Pharmaceuticals (a WI Harper investment).
Some of the notable companies that Mr. Davis founded and managed were Baron Data Systems, Quantic Industries, Gorilla Genomics, Tao Biosciences, Sutton International, the Montclair Energy Companies, and Intraware. At Intraware, he was a founding Board Member and Vice Chairman. At Baron Data Systems, he was the Co-Founder and CEO. Both were Nasdaq-listed companies.
Mr. Davis holds a B.S. in Geology from Stanford University. He also did Graduate work in Geology and was a Teaching Assistant in Physics, Chemistry, and Geology at Stanford University. He has served as a Director of the Stanford Alumni Association, the World's President Organization (WPO), and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), where he was also their International President.
